No account, chat uploads or app analytics. Cloud AI is switched off.
Setup downloads the engine and model from their official services. Those services receive normal connection details, such as your IP address.
Good for first drafts, explanations and ideas. It can make mistakes, and larger online models may be more capable.
Allow roughly 3–4 GB for the initial download. Local AI uses memory and battery; speed depends on your Mac.
This release can’t browse the web or access your files. After setup, chat works offline.
Check runs its own local engine and leaves your Ollama settings alone.
If the exact recommended model is already on your Mac, Check offers to reuse it. You decide.
Look for Check in your Downloads folder.
